Shay Mitchell, a Canadian actor and model, is an entrepreneurs. Her best-known role is as Emily Fields on the Freeform show Pretty Little Liars. After exceling with modeling and dance, she decided to give it a go at acting, and began acting classes in Toronto. Mitchell landed guest roles and commercials prior to getting the major break. Both the critics and the audience praised her for her talent. Mitchell is also the cousin of Lea Salonga, a famed musician and musical theater actor. As a child, Mitchell attended Rockridge Secondary prior to transferring to West Vancouver Secondary School. As she grew older Mitchell worked for several modeling companies across the globe. She travelled to Barcelona, Bangkok, and Hong Kong, ultimately returning home to Toronto and pursuing a degree in acting.
