The singer recalls she was just 11 years old when a person requested her to sing in a solo at the church. She wasn't quite ready to go. After that, McDonald's held a contest with children from large cities. I was able to perform "Accept What God Allows" at it's Showtime At the Apollo. And the audience was very supportive.
